OSU
MECHANICAL, INDUSTRIAL, and MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING E-BULLETIN
Vol 2. Issue #5
Week of October 16, 2006
Attention ME and IME Seniors:
Senior Dinner Sign-Ups Start Today!
The 2006 EECS,
IME, & ME Senior Dinner takes place next Tuesday, October 24th, at 5:30 pm in the MU Ballroom. The event is sponsored by industry professionals
who are interested in meeting you. It’s an excellent,
one-of-a-kind opportunity to meet potential employers, find out more about
different career and graduate school options, ask questions about the job
market, network, get your resume out there, and enjoy a free dinner!
SIGN UP FOR THE DINNER TODAY! The senior dinner sign-up sheet for ME and IME students
will be available at the Dearborn 102 front desk starting tomorrow morning (Tuesday 10/17). When you sign up, you’ll select two different company
tables to sit at—one for the main meal, the other for dessert. Note: As well as company tables, several
tables will also
be available for discussing graduate school options. Dinner table sign-ups are on a first-come, first-served basis, so
the sooner you sign up, the wider your range of seating options. (Note that you’ll
also have time before and after the sit-down portion of the event to network with
representatives from other companies of interest to you.) The deadline for dinner sign-ups is 5 pm this Thursday (10/19).
IMPORTANT: In preparation for the dinner, we’re putting a resume
book together for our industry partners, so when you come to Dearborn to
register, be sure to bring a copy of
your resume as well. All seniors,
whether or not you are attending the dinner, may submit a resume for inclusion in this resume book.

implications of the scoring system. Handouts will be provided on how
instructors can modify their courses and assignments to appeal to the variety
