The generosity of ME Alumni and Friends allows this department to extend many diverse, high-quality academic and professional opportunities to our students and faculty.

Among other things, your gifts to OSU Mechanical Engineering underwrite senior projects, allow our undergraduates to participate in SAE and ASME competitions, build department scholarship and fellowship funds, buy new shop and lab equipment, send our graduate students and junior faculty to national conferences, and bring outside speakers to campus. We're proud to be able to offer these opportunities, and we're grateful to you for providing the means to do so.

Gifts to OSU Mechanical Engineering can be either unrestricted (that is, available for a variety of uses) or designated for a specific use.

Unrestricted donations to OSU ME support the following program needs:

• Equipment upgrades for the machine shop or instructional labs
• Student or faculty travel to conferences, meetings, and competitions
• Student group functions and activities, e.g. ASME, Pi Tau Sigma, SAE, SWE
• Senior design projects
• Department newsletters and other publications
• Bringing outside speakers to campus
• Facility improvements
